Brad Pitt shares rare update about filming 'F1'

Brad Pitt has opened up about his favorite memories from filming F1.

The movie revolves around the Formula’s 1 most promising retired driver, Sonny Hayes, mentoring a younger racers team, APXGP, after nearly three decades of his retirement.

During an interview with People, the Fight Club actor candidly discussed his filming experience of the action-sport movie.

Sharing the favorite moment, he began, “I got a lot, I got a lot, but every time I got in the car, these tracks are just like hallowed ground. Silverstone. Spa in Belgium was the most memorable. Abu Dhabi. We really got spoiled.”

Comparing the regular driving to the super high speed driving for filming, Pitt continued, “There's a strange calm in the car when you're hitting everything. You're hitting your breaking points and hitting your turning points. It's such a piece. I can't even describe it. Yeah, it's incredible.”

The Hollywood actor plays the protagonist role in the movie alongside Damson Idris, Kerry Condon, Simone Ashley and Javier Bardem.

Meanwhile, the 61-year-old actor revealed the reason behind his 2004 iconic buzz cut, shaved head.

Referring to his new cut, Brad Pitt concluded, “I just finished a job. It's for a character we did.”

F1 is scheduled to be released in cinemas on June 27, 2025.
