Jonathan Bailey recently addressed how he would approach the offer to play the next 007 character.

During his recent appearance on the Radio 2 show, The Scott Mills Breakfast Show, the actor was asked if he would "want" to be Bond.

To this, the actor responded, "I don't ... I am not sure ... I don't know,” noting, "I really, honestly, I mean ... it would be hard to say no."

"But I know that it's going to be exciting whatever they do," he remarked adding that he

was "flattered" to be asked whether he would be up for reprising the iconic character.

"I mean, that's an amazingly flattering ask. I could imagine you as James Bond, Scott," the Bridgerton star noted,

This prompted the host Scott Mills to respond, "Well swerved, because that's not true."

For those unversed, the actor, who is currently starring as Prince Fiyero Tigelaar in the Wicked: For Good, is one of several stars to have been linked to the part of the suave spy, after Daniel Craig.
