GTA 6 map leak surfaces online, adding to recent gameplay reveals: Know every detail here

Grand Theft Auto VI, a.k.a. GTA 6, with 175 days left until its grand launch on November 19, appears to have been hit with another major leak.

This time, Rockstar Games appears to be scrambling with the leaks ahead of the ‘Extended Look’ release scheduled for August 27 on Netflix.

One thing that surprised Rockstar insiders is how these assets surface online and how old they are, with each clue pointing to a cryptocurrency and a website linked to a group calling itself 'CyberLeek'.

The portal claimed the material and positioned it as a token of protest—suggesting this is no random cyberattack.

The website features three demands targeting Rockstar Games and other key publishers, apparently in response to the rising all-digital trend.

The group labelled it as an anti-consumer practice, such as ‘fake’ single-player DLC and the removal of paid single-player content.

The leaks include the entire state of Leonida, including buzzing Vice City and adjacent countries.

When put into perspective, alongside the earlier leak of GTA 6 gameplay from the same source, the map appears to be legit, which might have come from an early, unfinished version of the Rockstar title and not the final product.

According to a content creator, NikTek, who shared the CyberLeek’s message on X (formerly Twitter), it threatened that if publisher (Rockstar) wants revenue before November launch, they can press discs. Print boxes. Put them on shelves. Earn that money through physical production.”

What’s in the leak, and what do the screenshots reveal?

Two clips that were leaked made waves on the internet before many of the original sources disappeared under copyright strikes.

The first one includes roughly 1 minute in length and places Jason at the waterfront residential property already revealed in the previous trailers.

The second clip features Jason driving a worn out car, apparently a Vapid Ganado, which also revealed in the previous trailers.

The in-car interface shows a fuel gauge, an engine condition indicator, and a loadout or storage prompt listed as 0/4 capacity.

While the map images surfaced after the clips, early posts showed named locations including Dalton Island, Gloriana Key, Caralan Key, Tequesta Retreat and others that align with long-running community rumours about the southern Florida Keys-inspired islands.

A wider-image allegedly reveals the complete state of Leonida divided into five countries.

Multiple media reports suggest that Take-Two Interactive has initiated the process of removing leaked content of GTA 6.

These efforts confirm one thing: the leaks hold ground.

GTA 6 is still on track for release on November 19, 2026.
