Prince Harry continues to uphold the values that King Charles had instilled in his two boys from a young age about protecting the environment.

Both his sons, William and Harry, have taken their own paths to carry them in their work. The King would be proud to learn that one of Harry's initiative inspired by those same values earned a recognition.

The Duke of Sussex, who founded his not-for-profit travel organisation Travayst in 2019, has been shortlisted for another award.

It was confirmed on Monday that the company, which aims to make tourism more environmentally-friendly, has been nominated at the Skift IDEA Awards 2026 in the Travel Technology and Sustainability Tech category.

“We're excited to announce that we’ve been shortlisted as a finalist in the Skift IDEA Awards 2026! Over 490 entries were submitted from around the world this year,” it began.

“The awards recognise those who are driving change and innovation across the travel industry, and we’re honoured to have been shortlisted for our work in unlocking sustainability data at scale through the Data Hub,” it continued.

“Thank you to all our partners, collaborators, and data contributors from across travel and tourism who have helped us get here. Together we can drive the change needed towards a more sustainable future”

It concluded, “Congratulations to the other shortlisted finalists. The winners will be revealed on 26 August.”

The Skift IDEA Awards 2026 winners announced digitally but are celebrated in an event held in New York City.
