Prince George receives update on new security protocol at Eton College

Prince William and Princess Catherine’s eldest son, Prince George, will very soon be walking through the gates of Eton College, 31 years after his father did.

It is a special milestone for the royal family, especially the Waleses, as it signals a major transition in their positions at the Firm.

Kensington Palace had announced that the 13-year-old will start his boarding school in September, noting that George had chosen to follow in the footsteps of his father and uncle – Prince William and Prince Harry.

However, there had been some concerns about the security of the future monarch, as a new challenge poses risks of privacy invasion. While Prince William and Prince Harry only had to be wary of the cameras held by paparazzi, George will join Eton in a digital age where every pupil would have a smart phone.

Hence, it seems that the royals have already placed a groundwork for protecting George’s privacy as new signs warning “No Photography” have reportedly propped up around Eton.

Apart from the measures taken by the school, there will be 27/7 police protection provided to George.
