Jesse Tyler Ferguson, who is widely famous for his role as Mitchell Pritchett in Modern Family, has opened up about Jesse Eisenberg’s unique request.

The Now You See Me actor appeared as a guest-star in season 5, episode 12, titled Under Pressure, of the series.

While appearing on Dinner's On Me podcast, Ferguson candidly talked about his filming experience with the co-star.

"He did an episode of Modern Family, because he was a fan of the show," the 42-year-old actor began by saying.

The series explores the challenges of three diverse families through a mockumentary-lense, with characters frequently addressing a camera.

Recalling his request to watch the series, he continued, "He's like, I really wanna watch this episode, but will you cut out my scenes? So we sent him the episode he was in with his scenes cut out, so he could watch it."

During the interview, Ferguson was asked that if he ever watched his own series, he responded, "I'm not like Jesse Eisenberg who doesn't want to watch."

Meanwhile, he recalled his previous experience of filming The Hummingbird Project alongside Eisenberg.

"I did a movie with Jesse, and I adore him, and it was an incredible experience," the Cocaine Bear actor lauded.

Before concluding, Jesse Tyler Ferguson shared, "At the premiere, he would be like, 'We do the red carpet, walk in, introduce the movie, get the hell out of there, and then come back two hours later."

Modern Family, which has 250 episodes, was aired from 2009 to 2020.
