Prince Harry eyes return to US for major New York event appearance

Prince Harry is soon heading back across the Atlantic, just months after returning to the UK.

The Duke of Sussex confirmed among the names attending the Clinton Global Initiative’s 2026 Annual Meeting in New York later this month.

Harry’s appearance at the event could put him back in the US spotlight after he and Meghan Markle made the country their permanent home following their decision to step away from royal duties in 2020.

However, it remains unclear whether the Duke will travel to New York in person or take part remotely from California.

The annual gathering is organised by former US President Bill Clinton’s Clinton Global Initiative, brings together influential figures from politics, business, and philanthropy.

The Duke is set to appear alongside Jeremy Allaire, Mastercard chief executive Ajay Banga, Bill Nye, Chrissy Teigen and Nobel Peace Prize laureate Muhammad Yunus.

Invictus Games celebrating 12th anniversary

The Invictus Games is marking 12 years since the event that started it all, looking back on the first Games held in London in 2014.

Organisers commemorated the anniversary by reflecting on the landmark Games, when London came together to welcome wounded and sick service personnel and veterans and support the growing Invictus community.

The anniversary also falls on World Suicide Prevention Day, giving the organisation an opportunity to remember members of the community who have died over the years.
