Ola Jordan jets off with daughter after saying she supported her amid split

Ola Jordan has shared sweet memories with her daughter Ella after opening up about her split from her husband James Jordan.

The now-exes were Strictly's longest-standing couple, spending 26 years together. They started dating in 1999 and married in 2003.

They announced their split with a joint statement earlier this month.

Amid her marital woes, Ola, 43, appeared in high spirits with her six-year-old daughter, Ella, on Saturday as they left the country for a much-needed break.

Ola took to social media and shared a fun mirror selfie with Ella as they excitedly prepared for their mother-daughter trip.

The Polish professional dancer shared a number of snaps of the pair.

In one snap Ella donned a Daisy top as she posed with her suitcase outside the terminal, with Ola writing: 'And we are off.'

In another snap, Ella was seen mingling with British Airways staff.

The fun snaps come hours after Ola confessed that her life had changed in just a couple of days.

She wrote: 'There have been moments this summer when my heart has felt heavier than I ever imagined it could. Life has changed in ways I never expected, and some days have been incredibly tough.'

Praising her six-year-old daughter for helping her get through the difficult time, she continued: 'But through all of the uncertainty, one thing has remained constant, my beautiful girl Ella.'

She also thanked her family, friends and fans for their support during her difficult times.
