King Charles's wife, Queen Camilla, is understood to be upset by the huge loss of a legend that many have been reeling from.

Camilla had something special in common with the Queen of Country: the love for reading and books. Both of them have supported literacy and advocated for more people to read.

While Camilla has her The Queen’s Reading Room, the I Will Always Love You crooner had her Imagination Library and Camilla.

As a show of appreciation and to honour the superstar that was Dolly, the charity issued a heartfelt message for the late singer, following the news of her death.

“Today we unwavering advocate for the joy and remember and celebrate the -importance of reading the icon, Dolly Parton,” the statement read.

“Dolly once said, ‘You can never get enough books into the hands of enough children’... but she gave it a pretty good go, donating more than 300 million books over 30+ years through her Imagination Library.”

It continued, “By putting so many books into the hands of so many children, she gave the most precious of gifts: the chance to millions of young minds of opening the door to imagination, possibility and a lifelong love of reading.

Thank you, Dolly!”

Dolly passed away on Tuesday night in her hometown in Nashville at age 80, following a brief battle with cancer. The Jolene singer is survived by six of her siblings, more than a dozen nieces and nephews, and her goddaughter, pop star Miley Cyrus.
