Prince William faces ‘unavoidable' joint task with Prince Harry in 2027

King Charles’s two sons have not been on speaking terms since nearly four years and there seems to no chance for a thaw in the bitter relations.

The Prince of Wales continues to be furious at his brother even though his father has opened his lines of communication with the Duke of Sussex.

However, Prince William may not be able to avoid his estranged brother Prince Harry any longer as he is faced with an important decision. There is major plan in the works by Harry’s team to have King Charles at next year’s Invictus Games.

According to sources there is a “fighting chance” that the King might appear at the event as this not only Harry’s “best achievement” but also a meaningful cause.

While the Games would take place in Birmingham, there is another important event, close to both William and Harry: Princess Diana’s 30th anniversary.

Despite their ongoing rift, Harry and William hold their late mother in high regards and continue to honour her through their work. Moreover, Diana’s Award is also the only remaining charity that has both princes as patron.

“There are no signs yet of any thaw in the frost,” royal expert Jennie Bond told The Mirror. “But he has much to think about with the 30th anniversary of Diana’s death next year, which — before the rift – is something he would have marked with Harry, as well as the Invictus Games.”

Princess Diana died on August 31st, 1997, in fatal car accident that took place in Paris.

Bond added that it would be “brilliant” if William and Harry were standing alongside one another and “calling a halt to the bitterness”.

“Families are complicated. Families fall out. But that doesn’t mean it has to last forever,” Bond pointed out.

Although, this is a big decision and would require immense planning about how things proceed from here on forth. The expert noted that the Palace would decide of Harry and Meghan are to be trusted again to move forward with the reconciliation.
