Michelle Keeghan joined by 'disgraced' family friend on holiday

Michelle Keegan is reportedly joined by unexpected family friend James Argent on her first family holiday after welcoming daughter Palma with Mark Wright.

As per Closer Magazine, the couple, who is on a holiday with Mark’s family, was joined by James, who was convicted on a domestic violence charge against his ex-girlfriend Nicola Artursson.

James is best friend of Mark, who has been “a shoulder to lean on behind the scenes.”

“But he won’t be seen publicly with Arg, as his wholesome image is important to him. However, he’ll continue to see Arg privately – like on this holiday,” the insider told the outlet.

The sources revealed that Mark’s friendship with James has caused some tensions within his marriage to Michelle.

They said, “It’s hard for Michelle. She’s so nice, she’d have felt really awkward with him there but she would never say anything to Arg’s face,” adding, “Behind closed doors, however, it would have caused tension between her and Mark – she would have felt shocked at the idea of him joining them on their holiday.”

As per the tipster James is “really close family friend of Wrights” and they have “been supporting him.”

Notably, Mark Wright has told his wife Michelle Keegan that he’s “like another member of the family.”

For those unaware, James Argent reportedly attacked Nicoline, whom he'd been dating since last summer. He was handed a six-month suspended prison sentence and was issued with a two-year restraining order against his ex Nicoline Artursson.
