Liam Payne resurfaces in his girlfriend Kate Cassidy's memory?

Kate Cassidy, girlfriend of late One Direction frontman Liam Payne, shared a heartbreaking memory.

Taking to Instagram Stories, the 26-year-old internet personality posted a video of them walking late at night, laughing with each other a year ago.

She also added a caption alongside the clip that read, "This popped up on my one year ago Snapchat. I miss you."

Notably, Cassidy and Payne started dating in October 2022; however, their relationship ended with his death in October 2024.

For the unversed, the Stockholm Syndrome singer passed away after falling from his hotel room balcony located on the third floor in Buenos Aires, Argentina, on October 16, 2024 at the age of 31.

A post-mortem report stated that his death occurred due to "multiple trauma" and "internal and external haemorrhage" as a consequence of the fall.

Per the statement of the prosecutor’s office, autopsy reports also indicated that Payne might have fallen into a state of semi- or total consciousness.

Cassidy has been talking about her relationship with the Night Changes crooner and voicing her devastation after his sudden and tragic passing.

Conversing this year on Lorraine on March 5 for their March4March campaign about mental health, she reflected on her bond with Payne, saying, "It’s still so special, I see it so often and it’s going to be something that’s going to be involved in my life forever. Every time I see the number four, I know he’s there with me.”

"I never thought I’d ever be in a position being with Liam in general but he’s guided me so much, he’s taught me to have thick skin and that people are going to say different things, and people are going to have different opinions, and to not let anybody's opinion get to me as he never let it get to him,” Cassidy remarked, singing praises of her late beau.
