Actor Brad Pitt recently got honest about the biggest mistake he’s seeing young actor’s make.
New Heights podcast, joining Travis Kelce and Jason Kelce
The conversation began when the brothers compared Pitt’s veteran status in Hollywood to the rise of “these young guys come in” the NFL.
“It was just very relatable for us watching that as a veteran football player,” Travis’ brother said.
Pitt however had different thoughts on the matter and admitted, “I like watching what the new generations are coming in with.”
Because “to see what they're up against and also the way they negotiate their way through it. I feel like they enjoy it more.”
He also took a trip down memory lane during that chat, and admitted that the early days of Hollywood were very different though.
“We were a little more uptight and had to be about acting,” he recalled. “You didn't sell out, you didn't sell out, you didn't sell out.”
But “now it's this thing of, ‘Hey man, we can be artists in many different arenas. And so let's do it and let's enjoy it’.”
Still, he believes young blood has one habit he wishes they’d discard, and that is that “they also get caught up in like, have to have a franchise or have to have a superhero or something like that, which I keep going, ‘Don't. Don't. They will die’.”
It is pertinent to mention that even in his own career, spanning decades, there have only been a handful of franchise appearances Pitt’s made. Namely the Oceans trilogy in 2001, 2004, and 2007.
Right now Pitt has just released his brand new movie titled F1. It follows the life of a retired driver named Sonny Hayes, who makes a career comeback, after suffering a major career-threatening incident.
His motivations this time around include monitoring a new teammate on the APXGP team.
