It's better late than never for Bethenny Frankel, who just realized she broke an unspoken wedding rule 30 years ago.
The Real Housewives of New York City alum took to her TikTok account and confessed that she donned a white dress on her best friend's wedding decades ago.
In the candid confessional trend going viral on social media platforms, the 54-year-old reality star shared a throwback photo on June 30, in which she can be seen wearing a floor-length white dress while posing for the snap beside the bride.
“She doesn't know it yet but in 30yrs she will realize for the first time that wearing white to a wedding is an unspeakable fashion crime…” Frankel wrote text over the picture.
In the caption, she admitted, “Yesterday I realized for the first time I wore white to my best friend’s wedding… our friendship survived this travesty and we remain bff’s to this day.”
For those unversed, wearing a colored dress to someone else’s wedding is widely considered poor etiquette, as it can draw attention away from the bride.
One shocked TikTok user commented, “Girl!!!!!! WHAT DID YOU DOOOOOOOO.”
Frankel respinded simply by writing, “I was 25.”
