Gypsy Rose Blanchard, a 32 year old TV star, recently appeared on Tori Spelling‘s misSPELLING podcast, where she revealed that she would like to be cast on Dancing with the Stars, despite lacking any dancing skills.
She said, “I feel like I’m not talented with anything. I can’t sing, I can’t dance.”
The host, Spelling, asked Blanchard's stepmother Kristy, who was also present, if it was true that Blanchard possess absolutely no talents.
To this Kristy responded with, "She's got the personality for dance, so she's got it.”
Blanchard quickly agreed saying, "Yeah, I got personality."
For those unfamiliar with her story, Blanchard was sentenced to 10 years’ in prison in 2016 after being found guilty of conspiring to murder her own mother, Dee Dee Blanchard, who had subjected her to lifelong physical, mental, and medical abuse.
Although, it was Nicholas Godejohn, Gypsy-Rose's then-boyfriend, who committed the murder, but she served seven years in Missouri's Chillicothe Correctional Center for her part in the crime.
After Gyspsy-Rose went to prison in 2016, several documentaries and dramatised shows were made about her life and her mother’s murder, including HBO's 2017 Mommy Dead and Dearest and Hulu's 2019 limited series The Act.
