Luke Grimes has just now dished exciting news about Yellowstone spin-off, Y: Marshals.
While promoting his upcoming Eddington in an interview with TooFab, he candidly talked about the cast for the spin-off movie.
“You will see some familiar faces,” the Fifty Shades of Grey actor revealed by saying.
Referring to his on-screen character Kayce Dutton, who “joins an elite unit of U.S. Marshals, combining his skills as a cowboy and Navy SEAL to bring range justice to Montana, where he and his teammates must balance family, duty and the high psychological cost that comes with serving as the last line of defense in the region’s war on violence.”
Grimes said, “I’m excited to do it. It’s going to be year eight for me, playing the same character, which is, who would have thought that I would ever play a character for eight years?”
“But, he’s really close to my heart. He feels like a family member, and it would be weird to fully let him go anyway, so I’m glad we get to reconnect,” he continued.
Meanwhile, the 41-year-old actor discussed his working experience with Eddington’s co-star, Joaquin Phoenix.
For those unversed the Hollywood stars in the dark comedic movie alongside Emma Stone, Pedro Pascal, Phoenix and Amélie Hoeferle.
"I mean... He's, first of all, really generous," Grimes lauded when saying.
"Really awesome guy, on top of being one of the greatest actors in the world. And you watch him work, and you realize why he's so great, because he works really hard," he added before signing off.
Eddington is set to be released on 18 July, 2025.
