Vin Diesel has revealed the release month of the forthcoming last film in the Fast and Furious franchise.

Diesel surprised the crowd on Saturday at FuelFest in Southern California, where he revealed that Fast X: Part 2 will hit cinemas in April 2027.

Diesel also shared that Paul Walker’s character Brian O’Conner, will reunite with his own character Dominic Toretto in the last outing of the speed loving franchise.

This comes as Ludacris, who plays Dominic’s old pal Tej Parker in the films, also shared updates about the film. He noted that the next film is set to honor the 25th anniversary of the original, which came out in 2001.

He shared that he’s working on the upcoming film and new music.

In another nod to the first film, Fast X: Part 2 will be set in Los Angeles. Vin Diesel announced this after the Los Angeles wildfires in January this year.

“Los Angeles needs it now more than ever… Los Angeles is where Fast and Furious started filming 25 years ago… and now Fast will finally return home,” he wrote in a social media post. “All love…”

Vin Diesel has starred as one of the three protagonists in the Fast and Furious franchise since the first film.
