Nikki Garcia recalls awkward run-in with ex John Cena

Nikki Garcia dished on rare meet up with ex fiance John Cena for the first time after break up.

The 41-year-old wrestler got candid about meeting Cena on the recent episode of the Honestly Cavallari podcast, recorded back in March

The former couple crossed the paths at 2025 Royal Rumble in early February after  "seven or eight years" after split.

Recalling the moment Garcia noted that the meeting was "very quick."

The WWE star shared that they met respectfully as the fellow pro wrestler is a "married man" now.

It is pertinent to mention that Cena tied the knot with Shay Shariatzadeh in 2020.

“I was in a circle talking to people. He came to [shake] everyone’s hand,” Garcia shared.

“We just said, ‘Hello, good to see you. I think last time we were engaged. I don’t know, it’s been a while,'" she added.

For those unversed Garcia and Cena began dating in 2012 and he proposed Garcia in April 2017 on stage at WrestleMania 33.
