Katy Perry's private struggle revealed after Orlando Bloom split: Source

Katy Perry is preparing herself as a single mom after split from fiance Orlando Bloom.

Following the former couple’s split, a source told People that Katy is gearing up for the new chapter in life post-split but so far “doing great.”

It is pertinent to mention that the 40-year-old singer and the Pirates of the Caribbean actor are parents to daughter Daisy, whom they welcomed in August 2020.

"She never saw herself being a single mom," the insider told the outlet.

"She’s felt a lot of pressure about her tour and now this,” the tattler continued.

“It’s been a lot for her. She’s still doing great though,” the bird chirped.

Orlando is also father to son Flynn Bloom, whom he shares with his ex-wife, Miranda Kerr.

The news of the pair’s breakup was first reported by US Weekly.

"Katy and Orlando have split but are amicable," a source told the outlet. “It’s not contentious at the moment. Katy is of course upset but is relieved to not have to go through another divorce, as that was the worst time in her life.

The source added that the relationship between the longtime couple "has been tense for months," and detailed the reported split as "a long time coming."
