Katy Perry reportedly wants to keep a positive co-parenting relationship with Orlando Bloom post-split.

Following the reports the 40-year-old pop star and the Lord of the Rings star's split, a source revealed to People that Perry is aiming to foster a "positive" co-parenting relationship with her ex-fiance.

"Katy has every intention of maintaining a positive and respectful relationship with Orlando," an insider told the outlet. "He's the father of their daughter and that will always come first for her."

"They've been through a lot together and while they've decided to go their separate ways, there's still a mutual respect between them," the tattler continued.

"They're still very much in touch and co-parenting Daisy together. For the sake of their daughter, they're committed to keeping things amicable," the tipster added.

It is pertinent to mention that Perry and Bloom welcomed their first child, daughter Daisy in August 2020.

However, Bloom is also father to 14-year-old son Flynn, whom he shares with ex-wife Miranda Kerr.
