AC/DC just announced their first Australian tour in a decade, in support for their 2020 studio album Power Up.

Kicking off their string performances in November from Melbourne, the Aussie leg of their tour will then take the rock legends to Sydney, Adelaide, Perth, before they wrap up in Brisbane on December 14.

When AC/DC would be taking their PWR UP tour to their home country, they will be supported by Australian punk rockers Amyl and the Sniffers

Front woman Amy Taylor expressed excitement over being able to join "the best rock and roll band in the world" for their tour,

“AC/DC! The best rock and roll band in the world. I just can’t believe it. I am so excited,” she wrote on Instagram.

“Never ever ever would have dreamed this. Highlight of my literal life like wow can you believe it,” Amy added.

The musician continued, “Five years ago we covered the same three AC/DC songs on the back of a truck up the Canning Highway [Perth] for two hours straight. A band’s music that’s been weaved through my wholeeeeee life."

She gushed: “Mainly just excited to see them play multiple times. (sic)” Amy concluded.

It is pertinent to mention that AC/DC's current lineup comprises of vocalist Brian Johnson, guitarist Angus Young, rhythm guitarist Stevie Young, bassist Chris Chaney and drummer Matt Laug.
