Brad Pitt is getting candid about his time in Alcoholics Anonymous.

Brad first revealed he took part in AA meetings in 2019. The F1 shared that he joined the group after Angelina Jolie filed for divorce.

Now, he’s sharing more about the meetings. The Troy star opened up during the June 23 episode of Armchair Expert with Dax Shepard.

Brad praised the concept of AA meetings, saying, “I just thought it was just incredible men sharing their experiences, their foibles, their missteps, their wants, their aches, and a lot of humor with it. I thought it was a really special experience."

Dax, 50, then asked the 61-year-old star if he was “nervous” to talk to him publicly after first meeting him during the AA meetings.

The Fight Club star reassured him, saying, "Quite at ease.”

Recalling how he really opened up during the meetings, Brad said, “I was pretty much on my knees, and I was really open.”

“I was trying anything and everyone. Anything anyone threw at me. It was a difficult time. I needed rebooting. I needed to wake the f--- up in some areas. And it just meant a lot to me,” he shared.

He admitted that he’s stubborn, but noted that he accepts his mistakes and tries his best to correct them.

He said, “When I've stepped in s---, I'm pretty good at taking responsibility for it and owning up to it. And now it's a quest to, you know, ‘What do I do with this? How can I right this?’ And make sure it doesn't happen again.”

In time, F1 star Brad Pitt began looking forward to his AA meetings.
