David Beckham shares throwback photos with Prince William

David Beckham has shared a special birthday message for Prince William.

As the Prince of Wales celebrated his 43rd birthday on Saturday, David, who recently received special honour from King Charles, marked his pal’s special milestone.

Taking to Instagram Stories, David shared a photo with the future King in which William could be seen beaming ear to ear with the InterMiami owner at the FIFA reception in Johannesburg, South Africa, in 2010.

In the caption, David wrote, “Happy Birthday Prince William.”

However, the second photo showcased them at the 2024 BAFTA Awards.

“Happy Birthday,” the caption read.

This comes after David Beckham received a knighthood from King Charles in the King’s Birthday honours, recognizing his decades-long sporting career.

Addressing his knighthood honour, David previously stated, “I'm so lucky to be able to do the work that I do and I'm grateful to be recognised for work that gives me so much fulfilment.”

“It will take a little while for the news to sink in but I'm immensely proud and it's such an emotional moment for me to share with my family,” he added.
