King Charles and his wife Queen Camilla on Saturday led the royal procession on the fifth consecutive day of Royal Ascot.

Apart from the king and the queen, Princess Eugenie and  her husband Jack Bracksbank were the only royals whose names appeared in the carriage list for the final day of the event.

Eugenie and Brooksband trailed behind in the second carriage as the king and his wife led the procession.

Fans of Princess Catherine aka Kate Middleton were left disappointed as she made no appearance on the list.

The Princess of Wales was initially scheduled to become part of the royal procession on the second day of Royal Ascot but pulled out as last-minute changes to the schedule.

While Kate wasn't present at Royal Ascot, she was busy celebrating her husband Prince William's birthday with the couple's children on Saturday.

Using the couple's Instagram page, Kate Middleton shared a picture of William with one of their dogs and wished him on his 43rd birthday.

She also expressed love for their children Prince George, Princess Charlotte and Prince Louis by writing their initials in the Instagram post.
