The Royal Family on Thursday said Prince Edward last week visited HSBC Championships to meet players and staff involved in the tournament.

Posting multiple pictures of the king's youngest brother, the royal family shared a message that read, "Good luck to everyone involved in the rest of the competition."

According to a statement, "The HSBC championships is an annual two week event on the men’s professional ATP World Tour and the women’s professional WTA World Tour. The tournament attracts the world’s best players and since 1979, many iconic players and past Wimbledon champions have played at Queen’s. Previous champions include John McEnroe, Lleyton Hewitt, Rafael Nadal, Andy Murray, Carlos Alcaraz, and most recently, Tommy Paul."

Meanwhile, Prince Edward and his wife Duchess Sophie followed King Charles on the third day of Royal Ascot as the monarch led Royal Procession.
