The actress, whose “perfect date” line from the original film continues to go viral every April 25, also spoke warmly of Bullock, saying they’ve loosely stayed in touch and that she congratulated her former co-star on her Oscar win in 2010.
As per the outlet, Burns currently stars in The Best You Can, a dramedy featuring Kevin Bacon, Kyra Sedgwick, Judd Hirsch, and Brittany O’Grady.
Furthermore, the film explores the unlikely friendship between a security guard and a urologist, and Burns was drawn to the project for its emotional depth and stellar ensemble cast.
