Jay-Z turned his Paris concert into a nostalgic trip down hip-hop and pop memory lane with Justin Timberlake.

The Prince of Pop suddenly joined the American rapper onstage for a live rendition of their Grammy-winning hit Holy Grail.

The former NSYNC star made the surprise appearance during Jay-Z’s September 10 show at Paris’ Stade de France, sending the stadium crowd into a frenzy as the pair reunited to perform their 2013 collaboration.

The unexpected reunion came as part of JAŸ-Z 30, his massive stadium tour celebrating three decades since the release of his debut album, Reasonable Doubt.

And if the tour is about revisiting the rapper’s legendary career, bringing back one of his biggest collaborators from the 2010s was certainly a fitting move.

Interestingly, Timberlake, 45, didn’t simply show up for one song and disappear.

After joining Beyonce’s husband for Holy Grail, he remained onstage to perform Until the End of Time, giving the Paris audience another surprise performance and keeping the energy high.

The night had already been packed with star power. Pharrell Williams also joined Jay-Z earlier in the show for a run of tracks produced during their long-running creative partnership.

For the unversed, Jay-Z, whose real name is Shawn Corey Carter, and Timberlake’s musical partnership goes back to 2013, when the two joined forces on Timberlake’s Suit & Tie.

They followed it with Holy Grail, the opening track and lead single from Jay-Z’s Magna Carta… Holy Grail.
