Princess Charlotte's college plan ‘in works' as George marks Eton first day

Prince William and Princess Catherine appeared delighted to see their eldest son beginning his journey at Eton College, as they dropped him off on his first day of school on Tuesday.

The young prince attended the introductory sessions to all classes alongside his fellow pupils and will officially begin his classes on Wednesday. George seemed confident and happy as he settles in his new school.

Now that George’s school matter is taken care of, now all eyes are on Princess Charlotte, and what school would be best suited for her.

According to reports, a prestigious Wiltshire school is a front runner for the princess.

Previously, Kate’s alma mater, Marlborough College, was also in consideration for George. However, Daily Mail’s royal source is a “likely choice” for William and Kate’s daughter Princess Charlotte.

“The couple have been spotted checking out a number of boarding schools across the county, including Oundle in Northamptonshire and the princess’s own alma mater, Marlborough,” royal editor Rebecca English shared.

“Although sources have indicated that the latter has always been a more likely choice for their daughter, Princess Charlotte.”

However, there is no official confirmation from Kensington Palace on the matter. A similar pattern is understood to be followed, and the announcement will only be made until the last possible minute.
