'Harry Potter' star Evanna Lynch marries Denis Skinner in magical ceremony

Evanna Lynch has tied the knot with Denis Skinner in a magical ceremony.

The couple — who got engaged in 2023 after two years of dating — got married at Wilton’s Music Hall in London on Friday, August 21, Vogue reported on Monday.

Lynch, who rose to fame as the whimsical Luna Lovegood on the Harry Potter movie series, revealed that she consulted an astrologer about her wedding date and was advised to avoid the August 12th solar eclipse.

The venue held special significance for Lynch, who revealed that five years ago, her cousin — a real-life witch — casted a love spell for her in that very place.

For her dress, Lynch told Vogue that she knew she wanted a “big poofy skirt with a structured bodice,” and she was able to secure one just weeks before the wedding. The skirt was paired with a Moira Hughes corset from Ellie Sanderson, and the wedding look was completed with a pearl-dotted veil and some vegan heels.

Meanwhile, Skinner opted for a green corduroy tailoring from Suit Supply.

The newlyweds’ first dance was to Our House by Graham Nash in front of 110 guests as well as their dog, Malo.
