Palace issues big update on Princess Anne after advice to 'fuming' William

King Charles' office issued a major update on Princess Anne after she 'advised' fuming Prince William to get a grip amid ongoing family tensions.

On August 9, the royal family's official social media channels shared details about the Princess Royal's visit to the Isle of Wight, along with several photos.

As per the Palace, "This week, The Princess Royal joined sailors and spectators on the Isle of Wight to celebrate the 200th anniversary of Cowes Week.

"Founded in 1826, the event in Cowes attracts over 60,000 visitors and more than 5,000 sailors across hundreds of yachts, each year.

"Her Royal Highness kicked off the regatta by firing the cannon, which sends the first fleet into the Solent."

For the unversed, Princess Anne is Admiral of the Royal Yacht Squadron, Patron of the Island Sailing Club, and Patron of UKSA.

She witnessed "how the regatta is run for the thousands of competitors across more than 40 classes.

"Her Royal Highness also took to the Solent herself, sailing out to watch the races first hand."

Notably, this comes after New Idea's report claimed that the Princess Royal expressed her concerns for the growing differences between King Charles and the future monarch William.

According to sources, she urged William to consider his family's well-being and avoid making any more enemies.
