Blackpink reunites on 10th anniversary to soothe heartbroken fans

BLACKPINK marked their 10th anniversary with a heartfelt reunion that gave fans the moment they had been hoping for.

During a Weverse livestream on the occasion, Rosé suddenly stood up and walked out of frame, leaving Jisoo, Jennie and Lisa looking visibly surprised.

She soon returned carrying a cute anniversary cake, which the four members placed on the table together.

However, the APT. hitmaker wasn’t finished with the surprises.

She disappeared from the frame once again before returning with a beautiful bouquet of flowers, which she lovingly handed to Jisoo, 31. 

The Number One Girl singer then brought another bouquet for Lisa, 29, before finally presenting one to Jennie, 30.

The sweet gesture visibly delighted the three members, turning what could have been a simple anniversary livestream into a touching celebration between the four friends.

The much-anticipated gathering came amid growing disappointment among BLINKs over BLACKPINK’s 10th anniversary.

Fans had criticised the limited scale of the planned festivities, particularly an offline anniversary event reportedly restricted to just 40 raffle winners, as well as uncertainty over whether all four members would be able to attend.

The limited plans left many fans feeling that such a major milestone deserved a much bigger celebration. The frustration grew further after the anniversary event was announced with little notice and was tied to paid Weverse membership, while fans had been hoping for a more substantial group celebration.

The members’ livestream offered fans something they had been desperately waiting for: BLACKPINK together as four.

And Rosé’s thoughtful little surprises appeared to make the occasion even more special.
