Blac Chyna, Derrick Milano call it quits

Blac Chyna and Derrick Milano have officially parted ways.

After nine months, Derrick proposed during Howard University’s homecoming in October 2024, and the pair broke off their engagement.

The Seen Her rapper took to her official Instagram account to confirm their split on July 3.

“After much prayer and reflection, Derrick and I have decided to call off the engagement,” Blac announced on her Stories.

“We love each other deeply and are good friends, but we both believe that God’s guidance has shown us that this is the right path for both of us, as we each continue our journeys," the statement continued.

The split of the couple came less than a year after Derrick popped the question in front of the students of Howard University alumni, “Angela, will you marry me?” the 31-year-old asked.

The Rob & Chyna alum first speculated to be dating Derrick when she posted a snap with him on Instagram and later confirmed in an anniversary tribute post that they started dating in May 2023.

"Happy 1 year anniversary @derrickmilano," she posted on her social media in May 2023. "Reflecting on a year of pure magic and joy with you, my dearest Derrick. Your love, support, and friendship have filled my life with light and warmth."

It is pertinent to mention that Blac shares daughter Dream with ex-fiancé Rob Kardashian and also 12-year-old son King Cairo with previous partner Tyga.
