Aubrey O’Day has shared her thoughts after Sean “Diddy” Combs was not found guilty on sex trafficking charges.

“I’m still unpacking the magnitude of it all. The cultural weight of this decision is immeasurable,” the American singer penned on her Instagram Stories on Wednesday.

The Show Stopper hitmaker further wrote, “It is heartbreaking to witness how many lives have been impacted by their experiences with Sean Combs — only for those stories to fall short in the eyes of a jury.”

“I can only hope these jurors never have to watch someone they love endure what so many survivors have described,” continued Aubrey.

In her statement, Aubrey also praised Diddy’s girlfriend, Cassie Ventura, for testifying in the highly publicized trial, saying her heart is with Me & U singer.

“A woman who could’ve had a life and career free of fear and control. A woman who told her truth in a courtroom, only to have the world dissect her credibility instead of her courage,” said the 41-year-old.

“Let’s be clear: the courtroom operates by the law, but that DOES NOT mean it delivers justice. Nor is it the best place to develop the moral compass this world so urgently needs,” continued Aubrey.

The Damaged songstress added, “The pattern of behavior Sean Combs has shown us over the decades is not a mystery. It’s a warning. And now, that pattern risks being reframed — and has now been legitimized by the system.”

It is pertinent to mention that Diddy was acquitted of sex trafficking charges on Wednesday, July 2, but was convicted of the less serious charge of prostitution after a high-profile trial in New York.
