Zara McDermott addresses Sam Thompson, Louis Tomlinson controversy

Zara McDermott has finally spoken out for the first time about her breakup with Sam Thompson.

For the unversed, the 28-year-old presenter and television personality was reported widely as she and the 32-year-old erstwhile I'm A Celeb winner ended their relationship after five years of togetherness in January this year.

Notably, the couple’s romance was shown on Made in Chelsea, but Zara ended up moving on with Louis Tomlinson, the star of One Direction.

The Love Island star and the Night Changes singer looked strongly attracted to each other as they were spotted enjoying romantic dates and getaways before Sam and Louis stood in front of each other for the first time at Soccer Aid earlier this month.

Also, the situation became awkward when Louis reportedly ignored the Sam Thompson: Is This ADHD? star after the match at Old Trafford, even though they had “peace talks” earlier at the hotel.

Now conversing with The Sun, Zara articulated her thoughts by saying, “The only thing in my life worth writing about is the work I do.”

She added, 'I don't care about social media as much as I used to, or about the aesthetic or the image, I value so much real relationships and real support around me, and being that to other people.”

“I'm a totally different person to the one I was when I was 21 years old and stepped into what appeared to be a glitzy world of showbiz, my day to day life is not at all glitz and glamour,” Zara noted.

It is pertinent to mention that Sam Thompson is also in a romantic relationship with someone whom he found a couple of months ago.
