Kate Hudson was told to do THIS before 'Party of Five' role

Kate Hudson has made a shocking revelation.

Speaking at the Awards Chatter podcast panel, Kate revealed that she was asked to divorce her parents to land roles.

She said, “I had gotten this part that they wanted me to basically divorce my parents so that I could work as an adult.”

“My mom was like, ‘No – never happening'But then I got the Party of Five and it was so great,” she recalled.

Discussing her experience in Party of Five, the actress said, "It was like two days of shooting and I missed two days of school and my mom actually allowed me to do it."

"I was 16 and obsessed with Party of Five, so walking onto that set was like, I couldn't believe that I was going to have a guest role on it, a day player role. I was like, oh. It was so fun," Kate added.

Kate Hudson also added that her co-star Michael Goorjian was "sweet" and "kind" towards her since it was her first role.
