Holly Vallance just separated from her husband, Nick Candy.

The actress and musician met the billionaire property mogul in 2009 and got engaged two years later.

Nick serves as the treasurer of Reform, which is led by Nigel Farage, and both him as well as Holy share a good bond with the political party.

A representative for the couple issued a statement over their split, stating, "This is a private matter and we will not be making any further comment."

Meanwhile, Daily Star reported that a family friend of the now-former couple noted, "This has been a very difficult period for both Nick and Holly, and they are keeping things private out of respect for their family. The joint parenting of their two amazing daughters remains their top priority.”

"They've had to juggle a demanding lifestyle. Between family, public life, and Nick's intense work commitments, it's been a tough balance,” they added.

Additionally, The Sun was informed by an insider, “This is a family matter and they're doing their best to handle things thoughtfully. Privacy is obviously very important to them both, so they can focus on what's best for the family."

It is pertinent to mention that Holly Valance is one of Hollywood’s politically outspoken personalities.

However, before entering the world of politics, she rose to stardom with the role of Felicity 'Flick' Scully in the Australian soap, Neighbours.

After a few years on the show, she made a career in music, releasing her single Kiss Kiss in April 2002, which became a major hit.

But, after the release of her album, Footprints, Holly Valance departed from music and declared acting her true passion, proceeding to appear in the US drama Prison Break and several other films, including DOA: Dead or Alive and Taken.
