Matty Healy couldn't control his emotions on stage after his band The 1975 headlined this year's Glastonbury Festival.
In a viral clip shared on X on Friday, the 36-year-old singer can be seen crying on stage at the end of an electrifying performance.
For those unversed, The 1975 was one of three headliners of the Glastonbury festival, which is currently taking place. The pop band closed out Friday night at the three-day event.
Earlier in the night, Matty joked about feeling nervous despite being a rockstar.
“I know I’m meant to be a rockstar, but this is really scary and I’m really nervous,” he told The Hollywood Reporter.
The When We Are Together hitmaker continued, “It’s difficult to tell when I’m being sincere on stage… But what this moment is making me realize is that, yeah, I probably am the best.”
“I probably am the best songwriter of my generation,” added Matty. “It’s the first time in my life I don’t know what to say.”
