Katy Perry sends 'clear message' of Orlando Bloom split

Katy Perry and Orlando Bloom's engagement was over long before the announcement.

Insiders recently told The Sun that the songstress, who’s currently in Australia due to her tour, told her friends in January that her relationship with Orlando was over.

“Katy confided in friends at the start of the year that their relationship was as good as done,” the source said.

They added that the former couple “decided to hold off on announcing anything in case things improved between them, because they are desperate to stay together for the sake of their daughter.”

“But they have spent barely any time together this year, with Katy on tour and Orlando working on his upcoming film Bucking Fastard in Dublin,” the source stated.

Notably, Katy knew “taking off her engagement ring would send a clear message.”

“It’s been a hard year so far. They wanted to wait until the tour is over before they made their split official, although Katy has grown tired of the situation,” the source added.

It is worth mentioning that Katy Perry was spotted without her engagement ring recently. Meanwhile, Orlando Bloom attended Jeff Bezos’ wedding in Venice with the singer.
