Scarlett Johansson spills truth behind PDA-packed appearance with Jonathan Bailey

Scarlett Johansson revealed the real reason behind kissing costar Jonathan Bailey on red carpet.

During the Jurassic World Rebirth red carpet appearances, Jonathan and Johansson showed affection by kissing each other, first time they kissed at the London premiere of their new film and the second time at the film’s NYC premiere on June 24.

Addressing their intimate gesture for each other in public, the actress called them “friendly people.”

“He’s a lovable guy, what can I say?” she said in the June 25 episode of Today.

The host Craig Melvin called the Bridgerton actor “attractive,” to which Johansson agreed, saying, “Yeah, you said it!”

“We’re just friendly people… Yeah, I’ve got a lot of love to give,” The Black Widow actress said.

This came after Bailey also called the intimate greeting with Scarlet an act of friendship while chatting with Entertainment Tonight on June 24.

“I believe in being able to show love in all different ways,” the Fellow Travellers actor remarked "And if you can’t kiss your friends… life’s too short not to.”

Jurassic World Rebirth is all set to hit theaters on July 2.
