Dax Shepard recalls intense first encounter with now-friend Eric Dane

Dax Shepard opened up about the rocky start of his friendship with Eric Dane.

The 50-year-old American actor-comedian revealed in a recent chat of his Armchair Expert podcast on June 23, that he and the Euphoria star were not friendly from the start, In fact, the two nearly got into a fight during an Alcoholics Anonymous meeting.

Recalling the intense moment, Dax said, “He goes, ‘If you hit that timer again, I’m gonna f****** throw you in that candle.’ And I go, ‘That’s it, m***********. Stand up, let’s go outside.’ He stands up, we go outside and I’m about to beat the f*** out of him—at an AA meeting, where we’re coming for healing and understanding.”

Despite their not-so-smooth start off, Dax and Eric have since moved past the altercation and are friends now.

Additionally, Eric also spoke about the incident during his past appearance on Armchair Expert. “I was not in the best space, let’s just say that.”
