Prince William has made his first public appearance after reports his younger brother Prince Harry wants to change his surname to Spencer.
The Daily Mail reported last week, Prince Harry discussed the issue with Princess Diana’s brother Charles Spencer – whose family seat is Althorp in Northamptonshire – during a rare visit to Britain, but was told that the legal hurdles were ‘insurmountable.’
Amid these reports, Prince William, as Colonel-in-Chief of the Army Air Corps (AAC) visited the regiments for the first time at Wattisham in Suffolk- arriving in appropriate style.
Royal expert Rebecca English took to X, formerly Twitter handle and shared videos of Prince William’s trip, saying “The Prince of Wales, Colonel-in-Chief, the Army Air Corps (AAC), is visiting the regiments for the first time at Wattisham in Suffolk- arriving in appropriate style.”
Another royal expert Victoria Ward tweeted, “Prince William is visiting the Army Air Corps regiments at Wattisham, Suffolk, for the 1st time since becoming their Colonel-in-Chief.
“He arrived in a Wildcat before speaking to soldiers about the new Apache AH-64E & will help serve the weekly “Archers Breakfast” in 664 Sqn.”
Meanwhile, commenting on Harry’s move, royal expert Helena Chard told Fox News Digital, "Trying to change his surname has an air of revenge."
