Members of the royal family attended the annual Order of the Garter ceremony in St George's Chapel in Windsor on Monday (June 16).

King Charles and Queen Camilla walked past crowds gathered outside the chapel as they arrived in a procession with other so-called Garter companions.

Prince William and Princess Kate, who missed last year's ceremony while undergoing cancer treatment, also attended.

Former British Prime Minister Tony Blair and other members of the order also arrived for the ceremony, wearing plumed hats and velvet robes.

The Order of the Garter is the oldest and most senior Order of Chivalry in Britain since 1348.
