ST. GEORGE´S: West Indies defeated Bangladesh by three wickets in the first one-day international at the National Stadium in Grenada on Wednesday.
Replying to the Bangladeshis´ total of 217 for nine, the West Indies reached their target with 62 balls remaining after being 34-5 at one stage.
The second game of the three-match series is at the same venue on Friday. (AFP)
