Prince Harry and Prince William’s relationship is believed to be beyond repair as the friction has only grown over the past few years.
Sources have revealed that the Prince of Wales is “doubling down” on his stance as he is “back at the point where if you mention Prince Harry in his presence he would throw you out of the room”.
However, not all royal experts have lost their hope for a reunion between King Charles’s two son, even if William is still upset with his brother’s antics. According to body language expert Judi James, there are cues that suggest that Harry has shown signs that the brothers can be civil towards each other in a public setting.
“These two men have shared unique moments and experiences and forged the strongest of bonds as they have done so,” she told the Daily Mail. “It’s possible that no one will ever understand them as well as they do each other.”
She pointed to the infamous moment when the ‘Fab Four’ stepped out for the walkabout after Elizabeth II’s death together in an unexpected circumstance. Judi claims that Harry still has a “sense of respect” for his older brother and his royal status and it kicks in subconsciously.
“Harry rose to the occasion here by very elegantly allowing William and his wife the right of way,” she pointed out. “Harry’s ego was fatally stung by the ‘Spare’ tag but when he and William have been seen together in public he seems, despite all the bitterness, to quickly and naturally revert to his role as William’s ‘wing man’.”
She continued, “It’s as though the royal clockwork is still whirring away as well-oiled as ever, with all its protocols and ingrained sense of teamwork.”
