Vin Diesel is once again honouring the memory of his late friend and Fast & Furious co-star Paul Walker.

Sharing a poignant throwback, the Dominic Toretto famed actor marked what would have been Walker’s 53rd birthday.

On Saturday, September 12, Diesel, whose real name is Mark Sinclair Vincent, posted a photo of the two actors together, smiling at one another on what appears to be the set of a Fast & Furious film.

Alongside the intimate behind-the-scenes moment, he kept his message simple and emotional, “Miss you…”

The few words carry the weight of a friendship that extended far beyond the blockbuster franchise.

Diesel and Walker became close while working together on the first The Fast and the Furious in 2001, eventually developing a bond that Diesel has repeatedly described as being like family.

Born on September 12, 1973, Walker died at age 40 on November 30, 2013, in a car crash in Santa Clarita, California.

His sudden death came while Furious 7 was still in production, leaving his co-stars and fans devastated.

In the years since Walker's death, Diesel has continued to remember his friend through emotional social media tributes, particularly around Walker's birthday and death anniversary.

Diesel became godfather to Walker’s only child, Meadow Walker and In 2021, he even walked her down the aisle at her wedding.

More recently, during a special 25th-anniversary celebration and screening of The Fast and the Furious at the Cannes Film Festival in May, Diesel became visibly emotional while speaking about Walker.

With Meadow also in attendance, he reflected on the extraordinary friendship they had formed through the franchise and fought back tears as he remembered his late co-star.
