Kehlani issues new tour schedule after cancelling shows

Kehlani announced new dates after she was forced to cancel some shows due to health crisis.

On Thursday, August, 27, the two-time Grammy winner issued a new schedule, confirming that the Camden, New Jersey and Columbia, Maryland stops on her Kehlani World Tour are now rescheduled for next week following a brief stint in the hospital.

Initially slated for August 26 and 27, respectively, the Camden gig will now go down on September 5 at the Freedom Mortgage Pavilion, while the Columbia date is set for the following night at the Merriweather Post Pavilion.

For the unversed, the 31-year-old singer hit pause on her tour after she had to visit the hospital in the wake of a sudden health scare.

On Wednesday, August 26, she delivered the news of the cancellation of two of her upcoming shows via an Instagram post

“After two off days feeling completely normal, I’ve been up all night unable to swallow & in so much pain,” the After Hours songstress, wrote. “I just left the hospital & am not cleared to sing for the next two shows. I’m so sorry.”

She did not reveal further details about her illness but confirmed that her team is working on a solution for the cancelled concerts.

Kehlani is currently on the North American leg of her self-titled world tour and is expected to return to the stage at the Allianz Amphitheater at Riverfront in Richmond, Virginia, on August 29.
