Olivia Rodrigo dethrones Harry Styles with new streaming record

Olivia Rodrigo just unlocked a new milestone with her streaming records, dethroning Harry Styles on the most streamed artist chart.

The 23-year-old pop superstar has earned around 30 billion streams on Spotify, and became the 55th most streamed artist on the platform.

The rank was previously held by Styles, 32, who holds 29.5 billion streams on the streaming site. 

While the Coming Up Roses hitmaker and the drivers license songstress have neither spoken about the new update, fans on social media quickly began to celebrate. 

Flocking to X, one fan wrote, "That’s insane," and "Daughter surpassing father."

A third hoped, "more to come as she moves up the list," and "This is huge," wrote another.

More chimed in, "Both great artists love them," while another cheered, "The concept of surpassing Harry Styles, talent won and lost."
