Olivia Rodrigo's 'Serena Joy' debuts with chart-topping milestone

Olivia Rodrigo just released a surprise track Serena Joy, and its already on its way to set a new record ahead of her Daisy Chain Fields festival.

The 23-year-old pop superstar released the song on a limited number of CDs, and then released it on worldwide streaming after fans had been waiting enthusiastically. 

The wait however, seemed to be worth it as the song quickly grew a huge fanbase which paved the way for it on Billboard Hot 100 chart. 

If the song keeps up the pace it would set the record for becoming one of the most recent Hot 100 entries to debut without a full tracking week.

The update took social media by the storm and fans flocked together to celebrate, writing, "It would literally become the most recent cuz it’s just been released."

Another added, "if enters the chart it would definitely be the most recent Hot 100 entry to debut without a full track week... it'd be tied at least."
