Prince Harry's bold new goal for better future

Prince Harry to spend the next 12 to 15 years in his home country while his children grow up there.

Harry and Meghan Markle are reportedly preparing to spend an “extended period of time” in the UK after their children, Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet, were linked to plans for British schooling.

A source quoted by the Daily Mail claimed Harry sees himself remaining in Britain for at least the next 12 to 15 years.

“The way he sees it is that he will be here for the next 12 to 15 years, minimum,” the source said.

The Duke is reportedly determined to take an active role in his children’s lives, with the source describing him as a “full-time father” who wants to be present for the ordinary moments as well as the major milestones.

“He wants them to be raised British, in Britain, and go to a public school,” the source claimed. “That is what the move is about.”

The reports also suggest the plans may have been in motion for considerably longer than the public realised.

While it was previously claimed that King Charles only learned of the Sussexes’ plans shortly before they became public, a source told the Mail that the King was “well aware” that Harry had been exploring British schools for his children.

According to the report, the Sussexes had allegedly been requesting school prospectuses and speaking to headteachers for years.

But Harry’s long-term plans may not necessarily mean the entire family will relocate permanently.

Meghan is expected to continue travelling between Britain and California, where she has business interests including her As Ever lifestyle brand, while the couple’s Archewell Productions operation is also based in the US.

A friend reportedly told the newspaper that Meghan will need to spend “quite a bit of time in the US” and will not simply be able to manage everything remotely.

The family are also expected to retain their Montecito home, with Christmas and school holidays potentially providing opportunities to return to California.
