Kinza Hashmi, after gaining widespread acclaim as Rubab in Leader, earned a chance to meet with a "real politician" during her visit to the National Assembly, at the invitation of MNA Romina Khursheed Alam.

Taking to Instagram, the actor shared a video of her arrival at the lower house, showing her walking into the assembly building with MNA Romina, watching an artefact display.

MNA Romina expressed pride in Kinza for portraying the politicians’ lives before people and thanked the actor for accepting her invitation on a priority basis.

"Reel politician meets the real politician”, penned the actor in a post, featuring her with Minister of Information and Broadcasting, Attaullah Tarar.

The actor said she had “a productive discussion on critical issues, particularly those affecting women in media in our country.”

Earlier in July, MNA Jamal Raisani had praised her for her outstanding performance in Leader, saying that her acting was "phenomenal".
